Triple murder case; powerful accused dodge court to delay indictment

Ume Rubab stands firm, seeks justice before it gets too late

DADU/ MAHAIR : Nov 10: The influential culprits in triple murder case once again managed to dodge the trail court to avoid indictment in the case at least till November 19, 2022.

The counsels for the culprits, who are sitting member Sindh assembly and enjoy support of Pakistan People Party (PPP), played a trick by staying absent from the court on the hearing date fixed by the criminal court for indictment in the triple murder case.

On the direction of the Sindh High Court, the criminal court had fixed November 10 for indictment of the accused in the case and complainant, Ume Rubab, known as daughter of Sindh, was present in the court with eye witnesses to record their statement, when the court announced to reschedule hearing for November 19,2022.

The local sardars of Chandio tribe had killed three family elders of Ume Rubab including her father , uncle and grandfather just to establish their wadairasim and goonism among the locals .

The culprits committed the henous crime considering themselves over and above the law. The culprits who are PPP leader and influential in the area might have gone scot free had Ume Rubab , not stood up against these crooked criminals . Ume Rubab got great heart to challenge criminal Chandio sardars for murdering her innocent family elders.

It was 2017 when the accused Chandio sardars killed family elders of Ume Rubab and after lapse of full five years, she is yet struggling to get justice . Those who are supposed to give justice in this case perhaps do not understand this phrase that justice delayed is justice denied .

Ume Rubab is fighting to get justice from a rotten judicial system of Pakistan. She is facing huge problems due to ineffective and rotten judicial system but even suffering at the hand of this brutal judicial and prosecution system of ours she is hopeful of getting justice . One can think of Ume Rubab’s ordeal and her courage when even pain of long five years and still groping for justice she speaks outside the court and plead the judges for justice in her case.

She showed the same courageous face on Thursday outside the court and once again pleaded to the court to give her justice lest it gets too late.

Will the judge listen to Ume Rubab’s appeal and stop the counsels of the accused from using dirty tactics for causing delay in indictment of the accused?
