Is rehiring of baboos, retired army officers best governance model ?

Hiring of rotten stuff

Islamabad: Nov 27 : At least half of top beau crates are either contractual or retired military officers in the federal government.

Sources said s list of contractual and retired military officers updated on November 27 ,2023 suggested that 17 out of 34 grade 22- officers of the federal government are either serving on contractual basis or they have come from the military side. The list carries the following secretaries/additional secretaries (Incharge/ acting secretaries of federal government.
A copy of updated list of contractual officers of grade 22 and retired military officers is made available to NEWSMAN.

Here is a true copy of the list. The questions which come up are : Why retired bureaucrats are being given contract after retiring at superannuation ? What is objective of hiring 50 % retired beau crates and retired military officers on key positions. Were over 35 years in service of government of Pakistan was not enough to trat their capacity and professionalism ? Again why retired army officers are being inducted on key posts of adminstration ? Major question which makes this kind of governance style is not making regular senior government officials irrelevant. ?

NEWSMAN wants its readers to go through the updated list of contractual bureaucrats and retired army officers who presently held grade – 22 posts in the federal government.
