THATHA; Umme Rubab Chandio, daughter of Sindh, has announced the celebration of Sindh Culture Day on December 5 in Umerkot, Thar with a new style. Giving details of the Sindh Culture Day, Umme Rubab said on Wednesday that the event will send a message to the world forums that the people of Sindh, in particular , and other parts of Pakistan, in general, have stood up against “Sardari System” and they have been resisting the political parties and their corrupt system. Umme Rubab added that she has been struggling since four years and invited all the people to come and join the Sindh Culture Day with the given title “Sindhu Tujh Me Sans Hy Hamara” under the supervision of Lal Mali.
Umme Rubab , a young and innocent girl of Chandio tribe has emerged as a symbol of courage to resist cruel and injust system in Sindh. Her great struggle against powerful Sardars of Chandio tribe who killed three elders of her family including her father over petty political enemity had sent a great message to those who were helpless in Sindh that they can stand up and fight for their rights. Despite disappointing role of Pakistan’s judicial system, Umme Rubab is struggling to win justice in murder of her family elders case since 2018.
