LAHORE : April 30,2023: Retired Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) employees have announced to launch protest at all the airports in Pakistan for putting pressure on the government to increase their pension.
The CAA employees decided to protest at all airports of Pakistan for not getting the increase in pensions at a local hotel on Saturday .
A press release issued by aggrieved CAA retired employees claimed that a representative delegation of retired had met with CAA director general persuade him to take up their case for the increase in their pension to the high-ups , but he turned down their request saying it did not fall in his domain .
The retired CAA employees have requested to prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , and CAA minister , Saad Rafique, to consider their demand for the increase in their pension as their families were undergoing unbearable agony due to financial crunch.
The retired CAA employees have a sound case to put their demand for the increase in their pension due to unprecedented increase in inflation and subsequent spike in daily used items and other necessities .
As inflation goes up tremendously it’s almost unmanagable for the retired employees who are the worst victim of the recent price-hike.
There is a great need to consider the demand of retired CAA employees and other retired employees of other government employees .
