ISLAMABAD : Dec 6, 2022: After a public spat with prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sprung into action to penalise prime minister Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) , Sardar Tanveer Ilyas by shutting down his family owned Centaurus Mall in Islamabad .
” When we came to the office this morning (Tuesday) , we were barred from entering in Centurous Mall. We were told by the police that Centaurus Mall has been sealed again”, an employee of Centaurus Mall told NEWSMAN requesting anonymity.
The CDA had sealed Centaurus Mall some weeks ago when the fire had broken out in one of three towers of the business mall.
However , the authority unsealed Centaurus Mall and allowed business in it as usual after two weeks from the fire incident.
Now after Sardar Tanveer Ilyas’ spat with prime minister Shahbaz Sharif in Mangla the other day , CDA again moved to closed down the Centaurus Mall , a prestigious commercial centre of Pakistan.
Sealing of Centaurus Mall within 24 after the public spat between prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif and prime minister AJK , Sardar Tanveer Ilyas is a clear case of political victimisation .
The Centaurus Mall is a family business of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas and he has been fixed by sealing his business centre in the wake of his public heated debate with prime minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, prime minister Ajk, had heated debate with Shahbaz Sharif during his speech at Mangla the other day.Sardar Tanveer Ilyas wanted to speak to the prime minister to complaint him for ignoring him during his visit to Mangla . Shahbaz Sharif, as could be seen in a video clip that appeared in electronic media,, not only misbehaved with Sardar Tanveer Ilyas who as prime minister AJK, did not deserve such treatment from the prime minister of Pakistan, but also showed his anger and annoyance in the public against him.
The prime minister Pakistan should have ignored the happening of heated debate with Sardar Tanveer Ilyas before leaving from Mangla for Islamabad.
The business community is protesting against the closure of Centaurus Mall and demanding unsealing of the business centre to carry out their trading activities .
The prime minister should think of his action against Centaurus Mall as its closure can send a negative message to the foreign investors for whom Mr Shahbaz Sharif is making long speeches during his visits to different countries.
