Islamabad : China has officially conveyed to Pakistan that Beijing will stand with Pakistan for its quality development .
The letter written to prime minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif , Beijing said Excellency, this is our official stance to continue to develop bilateral cooperation and promote the second phase of CPEC with high-quality development in collaboration with Pakistan, regardless the Dasu terrorist attack.
It noted that just forward you our foreign spokesperson clear message shown to the world that No attempt to sabotage China-Pak co-op will ever succeed. It said China will continue supporting Pakistan’s socioeconomic development and efforts to make lives better for its people, remain committed to working with Pakistan and delivering more benefits to both peoples.
Meanwhile , China Power whose Chinese workers were killed in terrorists attack in Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK,) last week has clarified that it suspended work on Dasu Dam project in KPk for security check and there was no lay off of any its workers. China Power , in a statement issued on Friday confirmed that is going to restart work for Dasu Dam soon.
Indian media had run a story on Dasu Dam terror attack and in the wake of it claimed that Chinese contractor has stopped work on the dam site and also lay off hundreds of workers mostly Pakistani.
