LAHORE: As it happens usually on political stage when some forces want confrontation to churn mill of rumours , Punjab assembly secretariat on Monday denied taking oath from Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan.
Although denial seems intional , Punjab assembly secretariat made an attempt to use courts by referring filing of petitions by some individuals for stopping those members- elect who have not taken oath for any reason so far.
The statement issued by Punjab assembly secretary, Ahmad Khan, wherein he said Chaudhary Nisar has been requested to come again for oath taking after two days seems tricky. His argument in delaying Chaudhary sahib’s oath taking is self-explanatory. Anyone who has even least understanding of the matter knows that the court immediately can convey its decision to the assembly if it had barred it from taking oath on any ground. Hence, Punjab assembly secretary’s statement seems stinky itself. It smells some different game plan probably made to stop Chaudhary Nisar from oath taking.
Chaudhary sahib will take oath sooner or later as he is an old most experienced person in Pakistan’s parliamentry history and entire PTI wisdom may not be enough to stop him from becoming a Punjab assembly member.
The architect of stop chaudhary Nisar plan perhaps have not taken into account oath taking io Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) member…Sania Kamran…and it’s enough to give Chaudhary Nisar relief from the court.
Sania Kamran had taken oath on June 6, 2020 and the same assemly had decared a big hall of a local hotel as assembly hall to adminster her oath.
There is a Punjabi proverb ” Sauo ghanday aur sauo jutay”, PTI government will get only this proverb by using different tactics to delay oath taking of Cbaudhary Nisar Ali Khan.
Panic in PTI ranks over Chaudhary Nisar ‘s oath taking shows the ruling party is fearing of something bigger on political horizen in near future.
