Military top brass acknowledges sacrifices of military , LEAs in fight against terrorism

Rawalpindi : July 5,2024 : In the Corps Commanders’ Conference of the Pakistan Army, while reviewing the overall security situation of the country, a detailed discussion was held on the various aspects of ‘resolve to stability’ and it was declared as an important step in the strategy adopted for counter-terrorism.

According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the 265th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held under the chairmanship of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military).

The forum paid great tribute to the martyrs, the Pakistan Army, other law enforcement agencies and the citizens of Pakistan for their eternal sacrifices for peace and stability.

While reviewing the overall security situation of the country, the forum had a detailed discussion on various aspects of ‘determination of stability’ and declared ‘determination of stability’ as an important step in the strategy adopted for counter-terrorism.

The participants described the ‘determination of stability’ for sustainable stability and economic prosperity in the country as the most important need of the hour to end the nexus of terrorism and illegal activities. Expressed concern over criticism and speculation for vested interests.

The forum reiterated its commitment to regional security, particularly the situation in Afghanistan, and the promotion of regional peace and security.

The conference participants expressed their solidarity with the people of Kashmir and Palestine and condemned the grave human rights violations, war crimes and genocide in Kashmir and Gaza.

The participants expressed that the military leadership is well aware of the challenges facing the nation and is striving for a sustainable solution within its constitutional limits with the support of the people.

Digital terrorism termed as conspiracy against state institutions
The participants of the conference termed the ongoing digital terrorism as a conspiracy against state institutions to fulfill political ambitions.

He said that the purpose of digital terrorism under the patronage of anti-state foreign powers is to spread hypocrisy and despair in the nation through lies, fake news and propaganda.
The forces of Pakistan and the Pakistani nation are not only aware of these conspiracies but are determined and united to defeat the evil intentions of the enemy.

The forum reiterated its full support for the ongoing social and economic development efforts in the country and fully supported the government’s efforts to restore investor confidence and economic growth and stability.

The Army Chief said that the Pakistan Army has always been ready to defeat all internal and external challenges.

Emphasizing on maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational readiness, he said that despite the challenges faced, the Pakistan Army will continue to play its full role in the stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
