Singapore: The value of the global cryptocurrency market has surpassed $3 trillion as speculation that more lenient US regulations may lead to a new boom for the asset class as a whole increased after Donald Trump was elected president.
According to data aggregator and analytics platform CoinGecko, the total market value of cryptocurrency peaked in Asia early on November 14 at around $3.2 trillion and was just below that amount at the time.

It is above the peak years of 2021, when stimulus from the pandemic spurred speculative investments, and represents a rebound from a few months earlier, when cryptocurrency turnover and prices had plateaued.
