ISLAMABD: Information minister, Maryam Aurangzeb, on Wednesday said Farah Gogi was a defecto chief minister of Punjab and front lady of outstand prime minister , Imran Khan, and his spouse , Bushra Bibi.
Addressing a press conference here, federal Information minister said Farah Gogi , a close confident of former first lady Bushra Bibi, was involved in every mega financial scam and she plundered at will in each and every department right from Faisalabad Economic Industrial Development Zone to land grabbing in Jehlum .
She said “ Farah Gogi was making money on the direction of Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan who claim to be very honest financially”.
Ms Maryam also alleged that Bushra Bibi was behind deadly scam of US letter and turning it into a whirlwind to promote the narrative of traitors against political opponent of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI). She said an audio leak between Bushra Bibi and PTI social media handler Arslan Khalid expose real face of former first lady and PTI chairman Imran Khan.
The federal minister also defended the Punjab government decision of providing relief in electricity for lifeline consumers who use only 100 unit in a month. she said those who were opposing this decision of providing relief to the pro poor segment of the society were basically opposition relief to low income group of the province. Ms Maryam added that the relief granted by chief minister Punjab , Hamza Shahbaz, was a part of his Roshan Ghar scheme and it was very much included in the budget 2022-23 of the Punjab.
