Finance Minister Meets Mashreq Bank Leadership, Discusses Economic Reforms
WASHINGTON, October 25,2024: Finance Minister Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb held a productive meeting with the leadership of Mashreq Bank, emphasizing the strong and enduring partnership between the bank and Pakistan.
The Minister acknowledged the positive trajectory of the Pakistani economy over the past year, highlighting key reforms undertaken as part of the recently concluded IMF Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
During the meeting, Mr. Aurangzeb outlined the government’s strategy to access international capital markets in the near future, aiming to bolster economic growth and investment.
He also expressed appreciation for Mashreq Bank’s commitment to expanding its operations in Pakistan, noting the upcoming launch of a new office.
