Five Khwarij Terrorists Arrested in Balochistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military has carried out an intelligence-based operation in the country’s southwestern Balochistan province and arrested five Khawarij terrorists, said a military statement on Saturday.

Security forces on October 18 successfully conducted an operation in District Pishin, targeting the presence of Khwarij terrorists, read the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

During the operation, five terrorists were apprehended, along with a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, which included three suicide vests. The detained individuals are suspected of involvement in various terrorist attacks and were reportedly planning to target both security forces and civilians.

In a separate operation on October 17 in District Zhob, security forces engaged in a firefight with militants, resulting in the elimination of two Khwarij fighters. A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered during the sanitization of the area.

Pakistan’s security forces remain dedicated to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of civilians throughout the country.
