KARACHI: FranklinCovey Education has signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) and a signing ceremony was held at a local hotel here.
To address and support the social and emotional needs of students after the COVID-19 pandemic, Pakistan’s premier educational organizations, Happy Home School, The Academy, and Public School IBA Sukkur have decided to partner with FranklinCovey Education , the world’s most prominent and trusted providers of educational leadership programs and transformational processes. The signing ceremony in this regard was attended by senior executives from both sides signed the document.
The CEO of FranklinCovey Education Mr. Fazal Niazi emphasized that students and parents are facing unprecedented uncertainty around the upcoming school year. Hence, it is crucial for schools to focus on restoring environments and relationships that support the physical, mental, social, and economic wellbeing of the students.
Keynote speaker and Chief Guest Dr. Shehzad Jeeva. Director Aga Khan University Examination Board mentioned in his presentation that the assessment system in our education system should be addressed. Students are often shamed, at times intentionally, sometimes inadvertently, which directly affects their social and emotional wellbeing.
Awards and recognition were also given to the students who won the International Leader in Me speech contest.
