RAWALPINDI : March 2,2023: After US dollar , gold too has given a big shock to the intending buyer with an increase of Rs 11500 a tola for 24 Carat in local market .
Gold price today jumped up to Rs 203500 today from Rs 202000 of the last day.
It is biggest increase in gold price in the local market in a single day.
In a parallel development , US dollar has made unprecedented increase in its value , bringing the rupee to a historic low level . The gold market took advantage of the rupee free fall and took the gold market to over Rs 0.2 m mark.
According to Markazi Sarafa Union Rawalpindi , today gold rate for 24 Carat a tola in the local market is Rs 203500. The pride of a tola for 22 Carat is Rs 197100. The price of 10 gram gold for 24 Carat is Rs 174470. The price of 10 gram gold for 22 Carat is Rs 168980. The price of a tola gold for 24 Carat (Bar) today is Rs 205500.
The rate of silver in the local market for a tola today is Rs 2200.
