ISLAMABAD; The federal government employees and penshioners have been proposed to get 10 % adhoc increase in salaries and penshions in the federal budget 2021-22.
Finance minister , Shaukat Tareen, announced adhoc increase for the government employees and penshioners in his budget speech here on June 11, 2021.
The adhoc increase in the salaries of the federal employees and penshions will be effective from July 1, 2021.
The federal government employees had been demanding substantial increase in salaries to offset growing price-hike.The relief of 10 % announced by the federal government in 2021-22 budget may not be a good news for them.
The level of anxiety of the government employees can be judged from one factor that a large number of the government employees was protesting outside the Prliament for seeking substantial increase in salaries when the Finance minister was presenting the budget 2021-22 in the national assembly.
