Riyadh (Saudi Arabia): March 29,2023: Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has organised recreational events including various sports Pakistani labour campus of Riyadh , Saudi Arabia.
A large number of workers participated in the events. The winners were awarded prize by the organisers.
Pakistan’s national cricketers , Mohammad Irfan and Imran Nazir participated in the events as special guests. They applauded the role of the expat Pakistanis and called them as a great national assets in foreign countries. They said ex- pat Pakistanis play role of a backbone in economic progress of Pakistan. They maintained that expat Pakistani always work in foreign countries and provide much- needed financial support to Pakistan. The national cricketers urged upon the participants to discourage ‘Hundi’ and send funds to Pakistan through banking channels to help it recover from the on-going financial crisis. The national cricketers urged upon the Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia to transfer their funds through HBL to Pakistan and make their families happy.
