Healthy activities must to avoid heart attack: Furrukh Habib says

ISLAMABAD: State minister for Information and Broadcasting, Furrukh Habib, has said sugary drinks and smoking were main cause of heart attack and other several diseases.
The state minister was speaking to a delegation of Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH) comprising its secretary general Sanaullah Ghuman and vice president Major (R) Abbas and media coordinator, Maryam Siddiqa.

Furrukh Habib appreciated the efforts of PANAH for creating awareness among the people about heart attack and other serious diseases . He assured the delegation that the government will take all possible measures to discourage use of sugary drinks and use of tobacco.

The PANAH delegation told the state minister that PANAH was reaching out to the public and private schools to create awareness among the students about negative impact of sugar drinks and smoking. The delegation also informed the state minister that it deputes teams of experts to train the public on initial emergency in case of heart attack to someone.
PANAH is doing good job of creating awareness among the masses over deadly diseases like heart attack and cancer. It organizes walks and seminar to educate the people and media about the risk caused to human health with the use of sugar drinks and smoking.
