Rawalpindi : June 1,2024: Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif, has congratulated to Helen Mary Roberts for her promotion to the rank of a brigadier in Pak army and noted that Helen Mary Roberts’ promotion as a brigadier in Pak army is a proof to the women ‘ s equal role to men in Pakistan ‘s society. He added that Helen Mary Roberts ‘ elevation to the rank of a brigadier is a good news for the nation . He said Helen Mary Roberts deserves appreciation from whole Pakistani society for her success. Helen Mary Roberts comes from the medical core of the Pak army. Her promotion as a brigadier signifies two facts of Pakistani society. One , women have equal opportunities in Pakistani society to grow and serve the nation equal to males. Second, Pakistan provides equal opportunities to all its segments without discriminating on sect or religion basis to serve the people of Pakistan . Helen Mary Roberts , being a Christian, enjoys equal opportunities to join the medical core of Pak army and she rise to the rank of a brigadier in due course of time. Army chief, General Asim Munir, also congratulated to Helen Mary Roberts for getting promotion to the brigadier rank in Pakistan army. Pakistan also has a 3-star female general in Pak army.
