This tweet widely circulated in the social media purportedly by Honourable Lady Jemima Goldsmith former wife of Honourable Imran Khan, the veracity of which I could not confirm despite my best efforts with friends and family.
I doubt whether Alkhimat Foundation will ever be dishonest enough to photo shop it either to their advantage I fail to guess any third force to have political interest in this purely humanitarian tweet by a lady whose honesty and dedication makes her an inspiration for those who consider themselves champions of them when they prove themselves to be liars and cheats.
It speaks volumes of the lady fairness in recommending the organisation whose volunteer went all out to rescue their fellow Pakistani under the most challenging environments while others waited to ride a boat or helicopter to be at least seen close to the flood waters if not with the flood affectees.
This Honourable and honest lady has all my respects for her honesty and commitment to the land and the faith she accepted with her own free will then imposed on her. She didn’t once embarrassed once her former husband with any scandal whether financial or moral even after she left both Pakistan and Imran Khan, the virtue that shockingly most of us lack as our loyalty ends as soon as our interest.
Sadly, these very vices promoted and practised in the society as virtues that make Pakistan safe haven for the corrupt and immoral elements in every sphere of our lives, who hide behind masks of virtues that they themselves propagate then be seen through their actions then heard through the ears, getting chocked with the lies fed into them by hypocrites of, who have increasingly disappointed and let down both Pakistan and Pakistanies on on whom the legacy of the colonial system is forcibly imposed enslaving them, their thoughts and speech . Sad but true.
