Chief Election Commissioner Islam Industrial Association Sheikh Tariq Sadiq announced the unopposed executive members Nasir Khan, Usman Shaukat, Sheikh Rizwan, Imtiaz Rastgar, Mahmood Warich, and Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad and including newly elected top office bearers. The Annual General Body Meeting of Islamabad Industrial Association was held at the Election 2022-23 Hotel Crowne Plaza Islamabad. Sub-organizations of industrial associations including steel industry, pipe manufacturing, automobiles, pharmaceutical, oil and ghee, soap and chemical, marble and flour mills, IT and software technology, oil and gas, fruit and vegetable, food, hotels industry. Representatives of Cargo, Engineering participated in the meeting and appreciated and paid tribute to the tireless efforts of former presidents Zakaria A. Zia, Sheikh Tariq Sadiq and M. Akram Farid. Former President Islamabad Industrial Association Mian Akram Farid addressed the meeting. He paid great tribute to outgoing President Zakaria A. Zia, Senior Vice President Mian Waqas Masood, Vice President Shahid Javed Cheema and their team for the way they registered the association, and CDA, MCI, WAPDA. And solved the issues together with FBR. He expressed hope that the upcoming leadership of Ahmed Waheed, Karim Aziz Malik, Usman Shaukat and their team will lead to the development of the industry located in the federal capital and It will prove to be a keystone to align it with the modern requirements, and solve outstanding issues with CDA, FBR, MCI and WAPDA, and voice the industry and the Mutati area located in the federal capital. Ex-President ICCI Khalid Javed briefed the members about the working of Islamabad Industrial Association and emphasized the need to establish a separate and independent office to enhance its effectiveness. And he hoped that the new leadership of Omid Tahir will use all resources to solve the problems of the manufacturers of Islamabad and develop the industrial area. In which the overall performance was presented and the action plan for the next year was prepared. All the members of the executive committee, the development projects including the improvement and expansion of Dry Port Road, establishment of free dispensary for industrial employees and establishment of mosque, filtration plant, Resolving trade change issues, siting for new industrial zones, lease deed, restoration of canceled plots, resolving issues of additional storey buildings in industrial areas, reforming multiple trades, CDA building rules for industrial plots. According to the distribution, submitting the building rules of CDA for revision, meeting the orders of CDA and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad to implement the development infrastructure of 100 million in Kahota Triangle and establishing the exponent in Islamabad.
