KP to Stop Taking Paper-Based Exams

Islamabad: As instructed by the provincial government, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) has completed the necessary preparations to switch from paper-based tests to a computer-based testing system.

This change brings a new era of testing process innovation, openness, and simplicity. Through collaborations, ETEA intends to allow private educational institutions, public universities, and colleges throughout Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to act as testing locations.

Candidates will be able to use the current infrastructure of these institutions to access test facilities that are convenient and close by.

Early talks with Virtual University eventually led to an agreement to use the university’s resources to introduce computer-based tests. Exam preparation will be entirely automated with the new technology.
