Friday 31st July 2021, had a lunch at the residence of Pir Sahibzada Sultan Ali Muhammad at Islamabad , An interesting discussion followed with the Chairman Muslim Institute, Ahmed Ali regarding the clash of civilisation as envisioned by Samuel Huntington, the classic example of its manifestation can be seen in this region in which the religion of Islam is being exploited that preach peace but is sadly portrayed as symbol of violence and intolerance.
The discussion revolved around the current happenings that sadly is again pointing towards the region not witnessing peace and calm in the near future given the news of the Afghan resistance purported meeting with the Chinese leadership.
The best service that can be done to both Pakistan and Afghanistan is for the International power contenders to remain neutral in the ongoing political crises across our Western borders except except humanitarian assistance.
The Afghans be allowed to help themselves resolve their difference without being encouraged for any foreign military aid under any excuse and at the best encouraged to promote inclusiveness and avoid using religion as a tool of persecution as opposed to peace that is the ultimate key to the Afghan solution.
