Washington, October 16, 2024: The $3 million LunaRecycle Challenge, a two-phase competition aimed at promoting creative approaches to solid waste management and recycling during extended lunar missions, has been launched by NASA.
The challenge focuses on developing solutions that will help reduce waste and enhance sustainability in space habitats. It has two distinct tracks.
