ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek -e -Insaf (PTI) leader , Faisal Vawda, has said the next general elections in the country will be held three or four months after budget 2022-23
Talking to an anchor person of a private TV on Tuesday evening, Faisal Vawda said ” The next general elections in the country can be held before time and its schedule could be announced after the next year’s financial budget”.
Faisal Vawda’s assertion has proved Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairman, Bilawal Bhutto’s claims true that the government can announce the next general elections in the country any time.
Bilawal Bhutto had told a public gathering held recently in Quetta to welcome some heavy weights in PPP from Balochistan that the workers should get ready for before time elections.
He had clained in his address to the gathering that the PTI government was weak and its planning to go for fresh general elections in the country very soon.
PTI had come into power after winning general elections held in the country in 2018. Its five years term will complete in 2023.
As per the constitution , the next general elections are to be held on completion of five term in October 2023.
However, some political pundits are expecting next general election before the next year budget.
