RAWALPINDI : (June 29, 2022) : German ambassador to Pakistan , Bernhard Stephan Schlagheck, paid a farewell call to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General , Qamar Javed Bajwa , at Pakistan army’s general headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) , matters of mutual interest, the overall regional situation, and Pakistan-Germany bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed during the meeting .
The COAS said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Germany.The Army Chief thanked visiting dignitary for his services and appreciated his contributions for fostering strong ties between the two Countries and support towards defence/security cooperation.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to play his role to further enhance cooperation between both countries.
