Islamabad : Ahead of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, Pakistan has called in the army under article 245 of the constitution for security purpose to upcoming important SCO event.
Pakistan is hosting SCO summit on October 15 and 16. A notification to call in the army for security to SCO summit was issued here by the Interior Division on Friday.
Pakistan is likely to seal its capital during SCO summit to ensure flawless security for the Foreign dignitaries who will travel to Pakistan to participate in SCO summit.
Many very important dignitaries are expected to come to Pakistan for participating in SCO summit. India has also confirmed participation of its Foreign minister J Shankar in SCO summit. Visit of Indian Foreign minister is extremely important for all regional countries as it can help ease soaring tension between India and Pakistan.
