In addition to financial support, Sharif revealed that Pakistan is sending more aid, including 3,000 tents and 12,000 blankets, to help those affected by the Israeli aggression as the winter season approaches. These items are in addition to 12 consignments of relief goods, which have already been dispatched since October 8.
The relief items have included tents, blankets, food, dry milk, and medicines, with aid arriving via chartered flights, special Pakistan Air Force flights, and cargo shipments.
Prime Minister Sharif also directed Pakistani ambassadors in neighboring countries to assess the exact needs for further aid and ensure the efficient delivery of relief supplies. He highlighted that the quality of these goods must not be compromised, specifically instructing that the tents sent must be fireproof.
In addition to immediate humanitarian efforts, the Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s educational support for Palestinians, announcing that a group of Palestinian medical students had already arrived in Lahore, with another group reaching Islamabad. Sharif instructed relevant authorities to extend educational opportunities to Palestinian students in other fields as well, ensuring they can continue their studies in Pakistan.
The government’s commitment to aiding the people of Palestine and Lebanon continues, with a comprehensive approach involving both immediate relief and long-term educational support.
