Islamabad, (Newsman): Pakistan’s exports in the telecommunications, computer, and information services sector saw a significant rise of 38.66% in October, reaching $330 million compared to $238 million during the same month last year.
IT exports continued to dominate the country’s services exports, accounting for 47.9% of the total in September.
On a month-to-month basis, IT exports rose by 13.01%, increasing from $292 million in September to $330 million in October.

Meanwhile, imports in the sector declined by 16.22% compared to October of the previous year and by 8.82% compared to September.
Cumulatively, IT exports for the first four months of the current fiscal year amounted to $1.21 billion, reflecting robust growth of 34.9% over the same period last year.

However, IT imports for October stood at $143 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 9.16%, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
