KARACHI, October 30, 2024: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi to review the renovation progress and urged that the work be expedited to ensure timely completion ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
During his visit, Naqvi stressed the importance of installing the scoreboard in a strategic location and proposed relocating the parking area closer to the stadium for easier access for fans.
He expressed that hosting the Champions Trophy is a significant honor for Pakistan and assured that the preparations would meet international standards to accommodate the world’s top cricket teams.
Naqvi also emphasized the need for all ongoing construction to be completed swiftly, with particular focus on the timely delivery of the FWK Hikam Co-op project, which is critical to the upgrades.
