ISLAMABAD; Prime minister, Imran Khan, may win confidence vote tomorrow (March 6) as the government and its allies are in action after losing a crucial seat of Islamabad in senate elections held on March 3, 2021.
“We have done our homework and will prove our majority when prime miniater seeks vote of confidence” , a close political aide and confident to the prime minister said.
The prime minister is scheduled to take vote of confidence on March 6, 2021.
The prime minister had decided to take vote of confidence after Abdul Hafeez Shaikh’s defeat in the senate elections.
Requesting anonymity , the close confident.of the prime minister told NEWSMAN on Friday that the government has required numbers in parliament to ensure smooth sailing of the prime minister in vote of confidence.
“The prime minister will get more than 180 votes to win confidence of the national assembly”, Imran Khan’s political aide claimed.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) is likely to abstain from the lower house when the prime minister seek vote of confidence.
