PPP announces long march on Islamabad on Feb 27

KARACHI: Pakistan People Party (PPP) has announced a long march from Karachi to Islamabad on February 27, 2022.
PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari , announced the long march on Islamabad on February 27, 2022 here at a press conference.
The long march will be a good opportunity for the PPP to show its public strength and gain momentum to mobilise public ahead of next general elections in the country. PPP had gained ground in Punjab by showing massive public strength in a by-election held in NA 133 Labore in recent past.
Keeping in view positive mood of the public towards it after a long hiatus , PPP can make good show of strength through its scheduled long march on Islamabad.
Bilawal Bhutto has been criticising the Imran government since its coming into power. He termed Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government as a complete failure and demanded prime minister, Imran Khan, to resign forthwith.
PPP has also been criticising the PTI government for the price-hike and surge in unemployment in its rule.
Talking to NEWSMAN and DANISHWAR DAILY on Thursday, PPP senior leader and the party candidate who contested for NA 133 Lahore , Aslam Gill, said ” PPP’s long march scheduled for February 27 will be the last nail in PTI government’s coffin”.
He added that PPP long march will be historic and would end- up at ouster of incompetent and corrupt government of Imran Khan.
“You will see the PPP popularity in public on February 27″ PPP senior leader said , adding ” Lahore will give historic welcome to its leader, Bilawal Bhutto, when his long march will reach here and then entire Punjab will join the march on Islamabad”.
