ISLAMABAD : September 24, 2022: Shahzad Town police on Saturday arrested Pakistani journalist, Ayaz Ameer, in murder case of his daughter in Law , Sara Inam.
The police arrested Ayaz Ameer for conniving in killing of his daughter in law. The police on Saturday said it was also going to probe Ayaz Ameer ‘s wife in the murder case .
Shahnawaz , son of Ayaz Amer had killed his wife Sara Inam in his house in Islamabad on Friday .

Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan, on Friday witnessed another barbaric murder of a young lady.
This time the killer is a son of Ayaz Amir, a senior journalist and anchorperson, working for Dunya news network.
Shahnawaz, the killer, crushed head of the victim with dumb bell and then threw her body in the tub of his room in a farmhouse in the federal capital.
Sara, the victim, was doing job in Dubai and had married to the killer just three months ago. She had travelled to Pakistan just one day ago from Dubai to Pakistan and purchased a car for her use in Pakistan.
According to the family, Sara and Shahnawaz had heated debate last night and it ended- up at killing of the victim.
The police spokesman confirmed to local media on Friday morning that the police have arrested the killer and recovered the dumb bell used in killing of the young lady.
The police also have forensic map of the site where the murderer killed the young lady. The killing of a young lady by a son of an influential senior journalist has sent a wave of shock to the society.
In a same barbaric method, Noor Maqadam, a young girl, was killed by a son of a rich man in Islamabad around one year ago. Then the killer had chopped off head of the victim for not agreeing to his proposal to marry him.
After a gap of a year or so, a young lady has been killed in the same barbaric environment. Since the case of killing of Noor Maqadam is yet to be decided by the court after long and painful full one year, it could be linked with the murder of Sara killed by an alleged drunk son the senior journalist.
Pakistan’s law is so frail that it does not fix- up the accused in time and it makes others to go for heinous crimes like killings of Noor Maqadam and Sara. Had the country a vibrant rule of law and courts delivered justice in time such barbaric incidents would have not happened.
Pakistan’s police system is so corrupt and unmoving that it goes slow against the accused. Its officials keep on delaying the investigations and finally make some ways to give benefit to protect the accused. Its next to possible to have justice in Pakistan in existing police system and the same is the case with its judicial system.
The courts are part to the corrupt practices and its benefit goes to the criminals like the killers in Sara and Noor Maqadam case.
