Peshawar – During the last 10 months, 924 people including 573 Security personnel were martyred and 341 terrorists were killed in 1566 incidents of terrorism in the country & 2121 were injured, an official report said.
Meanwhile, 341 terrorists were killed in 12801 intelligence operations.
According to the report, 573 security personnel were martyred and 1353 were injured in the terrorist incidents, while 351 civilians were martyred and 768 were injured.
948 incidents occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 582 in Balochistan, 24 in Sindh, 10 in Punjab and 2 in Islamabad.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan: A total of 583 people were martyred and 1375 injured in the incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which 437 security personnel were martyred and 1059 were injured, while 146 civilians were martyred and 316 were injured.
307 people were martyred and 644 injured in the incidents of terrorism in Balochistan, among which 110 security personnel were martyred and 263 were injured, while 197 civilians were martyred and 381 were injured.
Sindh and Punjab:
17 people were martyred and 38 injured in 24 incidents of terrorism in Sindh province. Among them, 13 security personnel were martyred and 11 were injured, while 4 civilians were martyred and 27 were injured.16 people were martyred and 63 injured in 10 incidents of terrorism in Punjab. Among them, 13 security personnel were martyred and 19 were injured, while 3 civilians were martyred and 44 were injured.
Islamabad:Two incidents of terrorism took place in the federal Capital, in which a Civilian was martyred and a security official was injured.
Intelligence Operations:
During the last ten months, 12801 intelligence operations were conducted, in which 341 terrorists were killed.
800 people involved in terrorist activities were arrested.
400 were arrested from Punjab, 203 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 173 from Balochistan, 21 from Sindh and 3 from Gilgit-Baltistan and included in the Fourth Schedule.
2466 people were arrested for providing financial support to terrorist organizations, while 526 criminals were punished under CFT. Meanwhile, money of Rs 58 crores related to terrorists was also recovered.
