THATHA: Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum (PFFF) organised a seminar at Mukli Gymkhana here.
Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader former senator , Sussi Palejo, and chairperson Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum (PFFF), Yasmin Shah , presided over the seminar. Obaio Khushuk, Mahboob Barohi, Iqbal Jakhro, Prof Mukhtar Shah, Khuda Bux Bahrani, Syeda Fiza Shah and others addressed to the seminar.
In her address, Sussi Palejo said the services of PFFF for Sindh with regard to rivers and sea were highly appreciable. She said Mohammad Ali Shah had been a big and vibrant character in this struggle. His services for this cause will always be remembered. She said PPP has reservations over the competance of Water and Power Authority (WAPDA) and Indus River System Authority (IRSA). She foresaw a dangerous trend for Sindh in changing climate . She added that blockade of water in Sindhu river showed a bad intention of the rulers. Sussi Palejo asserted that Sindh and Pakistan were connected in survival and progress.
