ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairperson and two times Pakistan’s elected prime minister, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, was assassinated by the terrorists on December 27, 2007 when she was leaving Liaqat Bagh in Rawalpindi after addressing a mamoth public rally. The suicide bomber targetted Benazir Bhutto when she came
out of her bomb proof Lexus jeep. She was trapped by the planners by organising a big crowed in front of her vehicle to make her over jubliant and expose herself to the suicide bomber for planned attack.
The planner had taken such a close study of the PPP leader that it worked exactly as was planned by them to take her life.
As soon as PPP chairperson stood up from rooftop of her jeep to wave to the “charged” crowd she was hit by the suicide bomber. For the last 14 years, Benazir Bhutto’s murder had been a mystery. Her own party also remained in power for a full term of 5 years, but it too remained clueless about the planners and killers of Benazir Bhutto. Since Benazir Bhutto was a very popular leader, the people of Pakistan wanted to know as to who killed Benazir Bhutto and why. But no one, not even her party, could answer these two questions.
After long , long years, Qamar Zaman Kiara , a very senior party leader, made a disclosure on Friday while talking in a private TV show that Benazir Bhutto was killed by banned Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
He told the anchor of the programme that the government should not announce a general clemency for terrorists organisation (TTP) which, he claimed, killed her party leader (BB).
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) is also opposing any such move.
