Islamabad : Feb 16: The Utility Store Corporation (USC) is going to offer biggest ever Ramzan package of worth Rs 7.49 billion this year . USC had provided Rs 5 billion Ramzan package last year .
The Economic Coordination Committee of the Federal Cabinet (ECC) has approved the biggest ever Ramzan package to proved maximum relief to the consumers during holy month of Ramzan this year. Sources said Ramzan package will begin at USC network across Pakistan from March 4 and it will continue till sighting of Eid moon ( Chand Raat ). Millions of Pakistani will benefit from USC Ramzan package this year . USC has a largest network of stores in the country where consumers are sold out hundreds of items of daily use at subsidized rates .
According to the sources , USC will provide special discounted rates for 19 essential items under Ramzan package . USC offers Ramzan package every year in the holy month of Ramzan. The Ramzan package will be available to BISP members for targeted subsidy as well as to commoners. Items which will be covered under Ramzan package are wheat flour , cooking oil , lentils , sugar , rice and soft drinks .
