World rushes to find workable solution to Afghan crisis

ISLAMABAD: As Pakistan step- up its efforts for inclusive government in Afghanistan, the world has rushed to find out a workable solution to Afghan issue.

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OiC) held an emergent meeting on August 22, 2021 in Jedda, Saudi Arabia to discuss Afghan problem and come- up with some workable formula to ensure peace in that war-torn country.

On the conclusion of the meeting, OIC urged upon the international community that it should take Afghan crisis on top priority basis to avert a looming human crisis. The OIC, in its announcement, noted that Taliban leadership should take practical steps to protect human and women rights in their country.

Pakistan is making every possible effort to make the international community realise the gravity of the situation and magnitude of crisis in Afghanistan.

Pakistan is continuing relentless efforts to have discussion with all international players to help form an inclusive government in Afganistan.

Prime minister, Imran Khan, is contacting with global leadership to discuss the situation in Afghanistan. He spoke to German chancellor and many other world leaders to consult with them the Afghan issue.

Meanwhile , United Kingdom (UK) has summoned a meeting of G-7 countries to discuss Afghan problem. UK prime minister , Boris Johnson, called for immediate humanitarian assistance to help Afghan people in this crisis like situation.

Russain president has also stressed upon the global community to come forward for averting another mega immigration of Afghan. He said the world community should not miss the opportunity of establushing peace in Afghanistan.
