But Thursday’s thriller played at Dubai stadium between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh was more than a cricket match. It was really a matchless fight.

Both teams kept struggling to snatch victory from each other, but finally Sri Lanka emerged its victorious .
Bangladeshi team kept on fighting in a good spirit to grab win in this decisive match, but its balling in the last two, three overs remained ordinary .
Bangladesh knocked a good total of 183 in 20 overs and set a target of 184 runs to win. It was the new record of score in Asia T20 Cup ever .
Bangladeshi ballers did good job and sent 5 top order batsmen back to the pavilion for 134 in 15th over. At that stage Bangladesh seemed in total control over the match as Sri Lanka needed 12 runs per over to get the target of 184 runs and it was not an easy task anyway.
Sri Lankan bats, however , kept fighting and in the last three overs they changed the match in their favour.
Bangladesh seemed confused in the field in the last three overs. Its ballers were presenting poor balling and the same finally cost it the decisive match.
With defeat in Thursday’s thriller , Bangladesh bowed out of Asia T20 Cup 2022.
Thursday’s win against Bangladesh has sent Sri Lanka in next phase of the match .
In group A India is leading with two wins and in group B Sri Lanka is leading .
