ISLAMABAD : April 17,2023: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) has appointed Chaudhary Ansar Farooq as chief organiser of the party for north Punjab .
PML chief organiser and president Punjab, Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar , appointed Chaudhary Ansar Farooq after approval of party chief , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and in consultation with party secretary general , Chaudhary Shafay Hussain.
Chaudhary Ansar Farooq is a vibrant social and political worker and a reputed businessman of Pakistan. He had played a key role in organising PTI in his hometown Sialkot and recently parted ways with Pakistan Tehreek- e -Insaf (PTI) over Imran Khan’s style of politics. Chaudhary Ansar Farooq was the president of PTI Sialkot and a member of PTI Central Executive Committee (CEC).
After saying goodbye to PTI, Chaudhary Ansar Farooq joined PML along with Ex Governor Punjab ,Chaudhary Mohamand Sarwar . He is considered a trustworthy political associate of Chaudhary Mohamand Sarwar.

Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar has congratulated Chaudhary Ansar Farooq over becoming chief orgainse of the party for north Punjab .
According to PML Information secretary , Ghulam Mustafa Malik , top party leadership has decided to divide Punjab in three parts for better party organisation at gross root level. Northern Punjab will consist of Attock, Jehlum , Chakwak Mianwali , Sargodha , Bhakhar , Khushab and Layya district.
Ghulam Mustafa Malik hoped in a statement issued here by the party on Monday that Chaudhary .Ansar Farooq’s entry in PML will help it become strong at the gross root level .
Chaudhary Ansar Farooq has thanked party.top leadership for appointing him as chief organiser for north Punjab and assured it that he will make the north Punjab as citadel of PML.
