Pakistan shrug off international pressure over deporting of Afghans

ISLAMABAD : Nov 1 , Pakistan has rejected international pressure and decided to go ahead with its plan to expel all illegal foreigners from its soil.

SeePakistan ‘s position on deportation of illegal foreigners is clear . Islamabad says it has asked all those foreigners to leave Pakistan by Oct 30 who do not have any legal documents to stay in Pakistan . .

The deadline for illegal foreigners to leave Pakistan within stipulated time has already expired. Pakistan has shifted to the next phase to arrest illegal foreigners and place them into dedicated camps before handing them to their respective counties. Pakistan is facing huge pressure from the United Nations and other major international players. Pakistan is hosting roughly three million Afghans for five decades.

Pakistan has suffered huge financial losses due to piled up illegal Afghans. Pakistan ‘s Foreign Office on Wednesday said Pakistan can not afford to keep illegal foreigners stay in Pakistan. Foreign Office spokesperson said in her weekly briefing that Pakistan is expelling those foreigners who are living here without any approval. Since announcement of deadline 126000 Afghans have left Pakistan for Afghanistan..
