Grand dinner held in Jeddah to honour legendary cricketer Javed Miandad

Jeddah – A grand dinner was hosted in honour of Pakistan’s legendary cricketer and former captain Javed Miandad on his visit to Jeddah. The prestigious event was organized by renowned businessman Chaudhry Faraz Ahmed—brother of former Federal Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain—at his famous restaurant, Lasani Spencer. The evening was co-hosted by former Federal Minister Chaudhry Shehbaz Ahmed.

Presiding over the event, Chaudhry Shehbaz Hussain praised Miandad’s contributions to Pakistan and congratulated him on the successful completion of his Umrah pilgrimage. In his speech, Chaudhry Faraz Ahmed extended heartfelt appreciation to Miandad for his invaluable services to Pakistan’s cricket and national pride.

During his address, Javed Miandad expressed heartfelt gratitude and said:

> “It brings me immense joy to meet fellow Pakistanis abroad. The unity and harmony I see here among the community is something I wish for back home in Pakistan. Overseas Pakistanis are a vital asset, playing a key role in our national economy. I’m deeply thankful for your love and hospitality—these moments will always be cherished.”
