Islamabad : As the world is watching with hope that Pakistan manage to not only bring Iran and US on the negotiating table following a fragile ceasefire between the two to navigate a vouge to find out a positive outcome from the talks for permanent peace in the Middle East. Pakistan had managed to pull the adversaries back from the brink of potential destruction two day ago when both Tehran and Washington were preparing for a decisive phase of the war. Pakistan manage to divert the .crisis at the last minute of the deadline of US president , Donald Trump, who was repeatedly issuing warnings to unleash matchless strikes on Iran to devastate its centuries old civilisation.
Since announcement of the ceasefire , Pakistan is struggling to hold it and continuously trying to foil those attempts being made by some countries like Israel.
Israel is using every cunning trick to heat up hostilities to spoil Pakistan’s efforts to help Iran and US to reach to a meaningful agreement for permanent peace in the ME. Its planned deadly strikes on Lebanon that killed hundreds of Lebanon nationals was in the same context. Israeli strikes on Lebanon and loss of civilian lives did provoked Tehran and its leadership lost patience at one point on Wednesday , but timely intervention of Pakistani leadership saved the moment and convinced to Iranian top leaders that their exit from Islamabad talks will serve Israeli purpose only. Iranian leadership agreed to Pakistani leadership’s argument and it changed the mind and decided to come to Pakistan for meaningful talks.
Islamabad is being appreciated by the world leaders for its successful diplomacy for averting a horrifying human tragedy by securing ceasefire between Iran and US. The world is anxiously waiting for success of Islamabad peace talks as it serves every country small or big.
Since US- Iran talks are a big issue and keeping in mind the significance of the event Islamabad is preparing to welcome the participants of the talks with open arms. The government has made foolproof security arrangements for the event. It has issued new traffic plans for the local traffic and sealed the routes to the base where the guests from many countries are arriving to Islamabad tomorrow.
First round of talks between Iran and US will begin in Islamabad on Saturday. Iran and US have confirmed the arrivals of their negotiators.
Meanwhile , world leaders kept on speaking to prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , and his deputy Ishaq Dar. Those who spoke to Pakistani leaders included
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar. King of Bahrain , Prime Minister of Austria, President France and many others. The world leaders expressed their desire for seeing Islamabad talks as a big success.
Prime minister of Lebanon also called to Prime Minister , Shahbaz Sharif, and requested to include his country in Saturday’s talks.
Another major development on Thursday was telephonic contact of Iran’s Foreign Minister with his Saudi counterpart. Both leader shared their good wishes for each other’s country. This contact can bring two neighbours and Muslim countries closer in coming days.
To review the progress of the talks between Iran and US, Pakistan’s top leaders had held a series of meetings here in Islamabad on Thursday. Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) , Gen. Asim Munir , had a meeting with prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , to review arrangements for Saturday ‘s talks . Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairman , Balawal Bhutto , also had telephonic conversation with prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , to extend his wishes for making Islamabad talks a big success.
