Rawalpindi : April 15 2026: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in its statement said on Wednesday Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), HJ, COAS & CDF and Mr Mohsin Naqvi, Interior Minister along with the delegation arrived in Tehran as part of the ongoing mediation efforts.
Field Martial,Syed Asim Munir, has flown to Iran on a special mission of facilitating warring parties for resuming peace talks on the Middle East (ME) crisis. A few hours ago from CDF ‘s departure for Iran , Pakistan’s prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif, had left for a 3- nation official visit including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye. Prime Minister , Shahbaz Sharif , and CDF , Syed Asim Munir , have the same mission to persuade Iran and US to renegotiate ME war and find a workable solution to the conflict.
