Lahore : Amid surfacing of a heinous crime of kidnapping , gang rapping and seeking of ransome from two foreign women in Lahore involving Ahmad Raza Dar , grandson of , Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign minister , Ishaq Dar, and four others , senator , Faisal Wovda, has demanded immediate resignation from senator Ishaq Dar.
In a statement issued to media on Friday , senator Wovda , said ” Ishaq Dar ‘s close relative is involved in kidnapping and sexually assulating of two foreign women nationals , he must resign from the government position”. Senator Faisal Wovda also alleged that the foreign women’s kidnapping , sexually assulating and demanding ransome ,is being downplayed to hush up the crime to protect the suspects.
As per the first initial report filed with the Defense Police Station C Lahore , Ahmad Raza Dar , is main suspect in kidnapping ,, gang rapping and ransome seeking case .
FIR said Ahmad Raza Dar, met with both foreign women in 2025 in Singapore and he invited both victims, one Dutch and other Venezuelan nationals to Pakistan . He used his grandfather’s office of Foreign minister , to arrange visas for them to come to Pakistan.
The reports said both women reached Pakistan on June 29. Ahmad Raza Dar received both foreign women at the airport and took them to some house near DHA Lahore where he along with his other four gang members made them hostage , gang raped them and demanded $ 1.5 m in ransome for the release from captivity. Ahmad Raza Dar acted like an organised gangster in this case and he kept on shifting kidnapped foreign women nationals to different places during their captivity.
On July 2 , the police received a stress call from Spain from a father of one of two victims and it resulted in the arrests of Ahmad Raza Dar and other three members of his gang including Sikandar Aziz Khan, Hassan Raza and Sajid Ali. One suspect , guard of Ahmad Raza Dar , is on the run so far.
Arrested accused including grandson of Ishaq Dar were presented before a local court of Lahore by the police for physical remand. The police will produce the suspects before the court after five days again.
