ISLAMABAD: July 01, 2021: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has rejected the remarks of provincial Education ninister Sindh , Saeed Ghani, about the anti graft watchdog saying the statement of the provincial minister is contrary to the facts, baseless and misleading.
Condemning the allegations, NAB said in an official clarification issued by its director media , Nawazish Asim, ssid the alkegations of the miniater were aimed to influence the references under trial against Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah and Ejaz Kakhrani it tantamount to benefitting the accused, which the bureau condemned and the bureau has decided to review the statement of provincial minister in light of NAB Ordinance clause 31 (a) and law will take its course.
The Bureau has clarified that the bureau has filed two references against Ejaz Jakhrani and Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Prisons in Accountability Court, Sukkur, which are under-trial. The honourable Sindh High Court has cancelled the bail of Ejaz Jakhrani in third case on June 25, 2021.

The police did not take any concrete step against the unruly crowd and their violent activities. Of which NAB Chairman took notice and ordered DG, NAB ,Sukkur to conduct inquiry, which is continuing right now.
NAB has also filed a case against Rafey Jakhrani, Mujeeb Jakhrani, Khadim Bhutto, Zafar Bravedar and other in Police Station , Civil Line, Jackobabad but the police did not register FIR and tried to illegally protected the accused Ejaz Jakhrani and his other companions. It may be mentioned here that SSP, Jackobabad had forwarded the application of NAB for registering FIR to IG Sindh, saying the FIR will be registered after the approval of the IG. SSP did not give satisfactory answer to the question of NAB’s question of not registering the FIR.
NAB has decided to contact honourable relevant court about the issue of non cooperation of Jackobabad Police and SSP, Jackobabad to register the case as per law and punish the responsible persons.
NAB has also filed a case against Khursheed Shah in honourable court of NAB Sukkur, which is under trial. The bail application of Sindh High Court has rejected whereas the bail application from Supreme Court of Pakistan has been taken back and Khursheed Shah was on judicial remand as per law.
The complaint verification and inquiry against Haleem Adil Sheikh was continuing by NAB Karachi after the permission of competent authority, where law will take its course. NAB does not believe on arresting anyone on the desire of anyone and also does not believe giving concessions to anyone. But its believes in performing its duties in accordance with law without caring about the duress, browbeating or propaganda.
NAB has asked the provincial minister to review NAB Ordinance already approved by Parliament and Supreme Court of Pakistan in Asfandyar Wali case.
