PM threatened of invoking article 6 to stop Shahbaz Sharif from leaving Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Soon after getting information that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) president Shahbaz Sharif , was going to leave Pakistan for United Kingdom , prime minister, Imran Khan, who was in Saudi Arabia on an important official visit, issued directions to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) authorities to stop the PMLN president from leaving Pakistan.
Reliable sources confided to NEWSMAN that the prime minister had given clear directions to FIA and other authorities that they should stop Shahbaz Sharif from leaving Pakistan at any cost.
The prime minister was so disturbed over the reports that Shahbaz Sharif was going to leave from Pakistan after getting relief from the court.
The Lahore High Courbt (LHC) had bailed out Shahbaz Sharif in money laundering case and permitted him to go abroad.
