During the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan invited the Azerbaijani government to participate in the privatization of key Pakistani state-owned enterprises, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Utility Stores Corporation, Zarai Taraqiati Bank, Distribution Companies (DISCOs), and other entities.

He emphasised the potential for increased trade between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and highlighted the significant scope for investment in sectors such as LNG, renewable energy, IT, telecommunications, agriculture, and energy.
On the topic of communications, the Federal Minister proposed Azerbaijani involvement in the Karachi-Sukkur Motorway (M6) project, a crucial route that directly connects to Pakistan’s seaports.

Mikayal Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister for Economy, expressed satisfaction over the newly launched direct flight between Pakistan and Baku, which has boosted tourism between the two countries.
He warmly welcomed Abdul Aleem Khan and assured him of full cooperation from the Azerbaijani government. Both ministers praised the strong, brotherly ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and expressed hope that these relations would continue to strengthen in the future.
