LAHORE, October 17, 2024: Accountability Court has reserved its verdict in the Ramzan Sugar Mill transfer case involving Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son, Hamza Shehbaz.
The Accountability Court judge Zubair Shehzad Kiyani, while hearing the case reserved verdict on the case against premier Sharif and his son.
Prime Minister’s counsel, Anwaar Hussain, representing him. Hamza Shehbaz was granted an exemption from attending the hearing.
During the proceedings, the NAB prosecutor proposed transferring the case to the anti-corruption court, clarifying that there were no objections from NAB regarding this move. The court after hearing the arguments reserved its verdict.
