LAHORE : July 20, 2022. With just one day left in final show down for Punjab chief minister election , Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) are accusing each other of horse trading to woo member provincial assemblie to abstain from voting on the day of election .

Fawad Chaudhary made serious allegation against Pakistan People Party (PPP) supermo, Asif Ali Zardari and claimef that senior Zardari has set up a trading market to buy PTI members . He alleged that Asad Majeed , a PTI member Punjab Assembly was paid Rs 400 million to travel to Turkey to stay away from voting . He demanded that the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) should take notice of horse trading being done by PPP top leader to stop PTI and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) joint candidate , Chaudhary Pervez Elahi, from becoming chief minister Punjab
Fawad Chaudhary wants SCP to jail Asif Zardari , Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah and Shahbaz Sharif for alleged horse trading of the Punjab members assembly.
PMLN and PPP rejected allegations of horse trading in Punjab.
Punjab Interior minister , Atta Tarar , in reaction to Fawad Chaudhary’s accusation said PTI is in trouble as majority of its members do not want to vote for Chaudhary Pervez Elahi . He claimed that Asad Majeed had resigned as PTI member of Punjab assembly on April 4, 2022.
PPP’s Shazia Mari said PPP supermo , Asif Zardari , is a symbol of politics of reconciliation and PTI allegations of horse trading in Punjab was another big lie of PTI
Meanwhile , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League Q , has become a central character of political battle for Lahore throne . He is meeting with several senior politicians to make his final mind to support any of two candidates of the chief minister office .
