Ambassador Sheikh: Pakistan Ready to Cooperate with Any US Leader

NEW YORK, November 1, 2024: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, stated that the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the US will be strengthened regardless of whether Kamala Harris or Donald Trump wins the presidential election.

In a recent inquiry from the US State Department about Pakistan’s stance on the candidates, Sheikh emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to working with all US leaders.

He expressed optimism that ties between the two nations will continue to grow in the coming days.

Sheikh praised the Pakistani community in the US, describing them as responsible citizens who uphold Pakistan’s dignity.

He highlighted that they are valuable assets to the country, and initiatives are underway to make Pakistan proud.

On the topic of a resolution from US lawmakers concerning the release of Imran Khan, Sheikh remarked that such resolutions will not affect Pakistan’s image or standing.

He reiterated that his primary focus is to enhance relations between Pakistan and the US across all sectors, particularly in economic cooperation.
